All our products are extensively trialled to ensure they are absolutely fit for purpose prior to bringing to the market place. We also commission market research to ensure we are working with our end user, the consumer and satisfying their demands.
One good example of this is the market’s first ever peat-free ericaceous Organic compost, which was trialled for three years prior to launch. Our seed & cutting organic compost is also a market first and houseplant, bulb and vegetable organic composts are still comparatively rare sights in a peat free format.

Specialist Organic Compost
This is a range of growth stage John Innes equivalent composts developed to meet the demands of those keen gardeners who have a liking for the traditional John Innes recipe, but want to work with peat-free products.
Actual John Innes composts are today compromised by the fact that the original recipe contained 25% peat and in modern mixes there is considerably more (often overlooked, even by "experts").
